This watch was authenticated in-house before listing. The 116613LB was the two-tone Submariner of the ceramic-bezel era — the "Bluesy" — introduced in 2013 with the blue Cerachrom insert that rescued two-tone diving watches from the 1990s aluminum palette. Throughout its seven-year production run it ran the long-serving Caliber 3135, the same 48-hour-reserve workhorse that powered nearly every five-digit and early six-digit Submariner Date, and it was never migrated to the 3235; that update arrived with its 41mm successor, the 126613LB, in 2020. The Rolesor construction — Oystersteel case and outer bracelet links with 18k yellow gold bezel, crown, and center links — gives it the split personality that defines the reference: tool-watch provenance, dress-watch presence. It is the last 40mm two-tone Submariner and the final catalog home of the Cal. 3135 in Rolesor form — a combination that, once Rolex stopped making it, stopped existing.
