This watch was authenticated in-house before listing. Our process includes visual and weight assessment, case and crystal inspection under magnification, caseback opening and movement verification against the correct caliber for this reference, serial number check against stolen property databases, timing test on a professional timegrapher, and functional testing of all complications. The "Polar" nickname comes from collectors, not Omega's own marketing — the 2018 Diver 300M redesign brought ceramic dials across the line, and on this reference the polished white surface with laser-engraved waves is the defining visual: a cleaner, more architectural read than the black or blue variants. The red "SEAMASTER" text and skeletonized handset (introduced with this generation) separate the modern 300M from its 1993 ancestor while preserving the helium escape valve at 10 o'clock and the ceramic bezel with Liquidmetal indices. Cal. 8800 is the single-barrel, 55-hour, Master Chronometer movement — the same mechanical platform as the Aqua Terra 38mm, just cased for saturation diving with a true 300m rating. Within the 300M lineup, the white dial is the rarest and most polarizing configuration — which is exactly why the people who want it know they want it.
