The 126610LN is the current-generation Submariner Date — 41mm case (up from 40mm in the 116610LN it replaced in 2020), Caliber 3235 with 70-hour power reserve, and the Cerachrom bezel that has succeeded the aluminum insert of earlier generations. The case redesign brought slimmer lugs and a revised midcase that corrects the "slab-sided" criticism aimed at the 116610, while the Chronergy escapement and blue Parachrom hairspring inside the 3235 extend reserve by nearly 50 percent over the outgoing 3135. It is, by most measures, the most refined Submariner Rolex has ever built — and the reference that settled the 40-versus-41mm debate in favor of the latter. The black dial, black bezel, Oystersteel configuration is the definitive version of the design that opened the category in 1953.
